Hello Dragonfly family, I just came across your Galápagos post again, and reading it brought back such a flood of memories. From that misty morning at the base of Sierra Negra to the moment the caldera opened up in front of us, I remember it all so clearly. But even more than the horses and volcano, I remember our chapter together — Arabella “adopting” me, the Dragonfly family spirit, the Horsfield & friends, and all those wonderful debates and curious questions. And of course, Gypsy. I smiled when I read that she made the day so special for Naomi. She’s still carrying riders up that great caldera.
I know you headed off into the South Pacific after that — what an adventure. Have the kids been horsing around anymore since our Sierra Negra days?
